I have now cut everything needed for the base terrain and sprayed it green. Just need to start flocking now.
I have ordered some non-slip backing to stop the hills moving on the flocked surfaces.
I am mixing Spring Meadow and Marsh Green flock together to get a slighter darker, less lurid green then Hexon uses.

ReplyDeleteLooking good! The mixture of colours is a lot less garish than that used on the plain Hexon II tiles.

It is the first time I have tried mixing flock and I was surprised that rather than becoming a mixture of light and dark, do have an even spread of colour, the flock all became a medium colour. Which I think works better.
