Still working on some WW2 bits for our Club's Sealion game at Warfare.
Some EWM Boyes Rifles - they are more robust for gaming with than the SHQ ones I currently have.
Hacked
about airfix spares (I have an ice cream tub full to the brim of old
ww1/ww2 airfix figures...) to make some casualty markers.
EWM figures look good - and using old spare Airfix for casualty markers is a great idea. I too have quite a few knocking around, and it may be a good use for some of the stranger poses!
ReplyDeleteThe grenade throwers and crawling figures (or MG loaders) make good casualty figures
DeleteI like them, superb contrast against the background allows the figures to pop.
ReplyDeleteWhen I started painting WW2 figures I realised that a camoulaged figure wold disappear against my usual basing, hence the green flock bases so you can actually see them!
DeleteVery nice! The casualty figures are most impressive.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Bob
Thanks Bob, they came out better than I was expecting
