Thanks Norm. I trained myself to paint Toy Soldier style on 40-54mm figures quite quickly when I was painting a lot of figures (mainly bands in tartan!) for customers with Imperial Miniatures.
These Front Rank are painted a similar style with some shading. There is more detail on these figures but I only paint what is needed rather than everything with detailed shading.
They have very characterful faces. Is the speed of painting helped by their size?
