First Glossy Set nearly ready
The first glossy set we are releasing under the "Little Wars Revisited" name is nearly ready to go. I've received the boxes and foam and made up a sample box.
These will be released in June with a set every two months after that to test the waters.
I'm waiting on a whole load of new sculpts for the next set of releases which will also let me get on with painting the 60 Line Infantry I need.
I have just come across your blog and I am really enjoying it. I picked up a copy of "Little Wars" a few years back now and have since been looking to try and put on a proper game of it.
It is great to see you recreating the old "toy soldiers" to use in the Wells style. My sticking point always came with the guns however, the original Britains are a bugger to find now and on eBay command some high prices.
I have managed to (finally!) get a firing gun and am going to be trying it out with some typical army soldiers when it arrives. Hopefully this time I can actually get the game going!
Anyway keep up the good work and I can't wait to read more.
Many thanks for the comments - what type of gun did you get? I've been picking up firing guns on ebay for between £3.00 and £8.00 which isn't too bad a price...
I am looking into the possibility of making a firing gun.
